Data We Do Not Sell
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Period. KansasCompass is a civic tool, not an advertising platform. Your information is used solely to provide and improve the service.
Public Data Sources
KansasCompass aggregates information from publicly available sources, including:
- The Kansas Legislature website (kslegislature.gov)
- Wichita City Council public records
- Public news articles from Kansas media outlets
- Public social media posts from elected officials
This data is already public record. We collect and present it to make it more accessible and understandable.
AI Processing
We use artificial intelligence to generate plain-language summaries of legislation and news articles. AI-generated content is always labeled as such. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

We use a limited number of cookies:
